ALBERTO CORPUZ Peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2004, Alberto, aged 77 years passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Alberto served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Philippines Armed Forces for 30 years, immigrating to Canada in 1982. He was also an active member of the Filipino Veterans Association. He is survived by his beloved wife Marina; children, Lolita Santiano, husband Domingo, their children, Sheldon and Sherwin; Wilfredo, wife Amalia, their children, Archy, Xyza and Aaron; Lorie Corpuz, husband Rainier, their children, Kimberly and Edward; Ophie Balmores, husband Angel, their children, Brent and Bianca; Tess Moore, husband Sean, their children, Kyle and Chantelle; son-in-law Jun Junio, children, Ashley and Maria Theresa; numerous other relatives and friends in the Philippines. He was predeceased by his daughter Veronica in 1987. Lamay will be held on Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 12 midnight at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 23 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Marys Cathedral. Interment Assumption Cemetery. We, the family, would like to express our heart-felt thanks to the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor, Unit 4, and to the I.C.U. staff.
