Well Dad, guess Derrick is up there now with you. I am still here. Everything has basically gone all to hell in a hand basket but somehow I think you know that. I miss you so much. Still clean and sober be 13 years this November 15. Figure that one out. I am doing my very best to take care of all of Derrick's things. Dealing with mom is my hardest challenge. Jayden is 22 now, Jack is 13 and Alaisdair is 10, you should see him, he is a tank. I don't get to see him much because of my divorce but I get to see Jack every second weekend. I guess I will soon be getting ready to sell our family home now that Derrick has passed away. Its so sad. I wish I had the money to buy it. This last week since Derrick died has been one of the hardest weeks in my whole entire life. Anyways I am going to run here. I miss you both so much. Love Always, your son Jason. - Posted by: Jason Gray (Son) on: Apr 08, 2022

I love you Grandpa, Happy New Year and happy Birthday. I miss you and wish I could have met you. I tell Mommy and Daddy I dream of you every night talking to me in a chair rubbing your leg. They think I'm nuts but I guess they may be right, I am only 2!! I love you Grandpa, thanks for being here with us somehow, someway. Asheigh had her 3rd Birthday yesterday, its so hard to not have you here, but we know you were in some way. When she wakes up every morning, I ask her what she dreamed about and she always says, Grandpa Jack rubbing his leg...Its just crazy. We love and miss you everyday and it always hurts to think of you. 10 years you have been gone but it seems like yesterday. Till we meet again Dad, I Love you more than the world, with all our Love. - Posted by: Derrick, Jennifer, Ashleigh, Max the Cat (Son) on: Nov 09, 2014

You are thought of often. So many things have happened in the years since you have passed. I know you would be extremely proud of Jason. I think you would get a kick out of your grandson "Jack". I know your new granddaughter, would have grandpa wrapped around her little finger. With lots of love and heavy hearts your family. - Posted by: Robyn (Daughter in law) on: Nov 15, 2012

Me and Jen miss you so much Dad. Everyday that goes by hurts so much more. I can't begin to describe how life has been without you here. I think of you all of the time and I know you think of us. Everyday feels like it was yesterday that you were gone. Jason is really good and Jayden is growing up quickly. Jen and I moved to Jasper for her job and I look into the mountains everyday and think of you, I swear they have magic. I love you Dad and will miss you tremendously.
