Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNABELLE DORIS THICKFOOT September 22, 1959- November 15, 2004 Suddenly on Monday, November 15, 2004, at her home, Annabelle Doris Thickfoot of Fisher River Cree Nation, left us to become an angel for the Lord. She leaves to mourn her ever loving husband of nearly 28 years, Thomas "Rick" Thickfoot; her beautiful daughters, Frances (Ryan) Thickfoot, Germaine (Trevor) Cochrane and Melanie (Isaac) Thickfoot. Her precious grandchildren, Darian and Jared, Kyla, Avery and Troy. She leaves to mourn her beloved parents, Emily and Clifford Murdock; her sisters, Marcella Cochrane, Diane Murdock, Denise (Vince) Moar, Della (Doug) Sinclair, Irene (Dave) Laroque, Dolly (John) Chochrane and one brother Clifford (Yolanda) Murdock. Doris had five special godchildren, Fabian and Rick Sinclair, Brandy Laroque, Adam Cochrane and Evan Thickfoot. She also leaves to mourn her mother-in-law Aurillia Thickfoot; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Janet (Albert) Thompson, Alma Asham, Hilda Mckay, Vina Stevenson, Joanie (Alec) Hudson, Phyllis Niholyk, Mary Chase, Clarence (Marge) Sinclair, Lloyd (Alma) Sinclair, Burnell Sinclair, Fred Sinclair, Garnet (Rachel) Thickfoot, Allan Thickfoot, Irene (Jim) Holmond and Della (Wayne) Mason. Doris is predeceased by her grandparents, Jim and Gertie McKay, Henry and Frances Murdock, her special father-in-law Thomas Thickfoot Sr., uncles, Leonard Murdock, Edward McKay; aunts, Margaret Spence, Elsie Sinclair, brothers-in-law, Lawson and Walter Thickfoot and nephew Clifford E. Manningway, as well she leaves many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. Doris was a strong, beautiful and loving woman who gave all she could give and all that her body would allow her. She loved to play bingo, bake, listen to fiddling and jigging tunes and watch square dancing. Her favourite singers were Loretta Lynn and Georgie Jones. She enjoyed the movie "Coal Miners Daughter and daily games of Scrabble with her best friend and cousin Beverly Mason, doing puzzles was also a favourite. We are all going to miss our Doris, especially her family, Rick, Fran, Germaine, Mel, Darian, Kyla, Avery and Troy. For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 Wake Service, Wednesday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. Both services will take place at the Stevens Memorial United Church.
