Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORNE SAMUEL CANN Suddenly on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, Lorne Cann, aged 71 passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elsie; daughter Darlene Gray and son-in-law Jeff; grandsons, Dylan and Brendan Gray; sisters, Velma Gagnon, Beverley Ford and Shirley (Ron) Strieb and brother Ronald (Virginia) Cann. He was predeceased by his parents, Sarah and Fred; brothers, Harold, Leslie and Robert and sister Irene. Lorne retired from the Deer Lodge Hospital, after 29 years of service. He was a proud member of the Winnipeg Branch # 1 Legion at Sargent and Maryland for over 25 years. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers the family would be grateful if donations were made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation.
