Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOIS LYNN HUMISKI (nee LUTZ) It is with great sadness, that we must announce the passing of Lois Humiski on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the Riverview Health Centre. Lois is survived by her husband of 30 years William (Bill) and daughter Melanie Humiski and fiance Patrick Mattson. She is also survived by her mother Margaret Lutz as well as sister Bev (Pete) Robitbulkloadaille, brother Lloyd (Dawn) Lutz as well as twin sister Louise (Garry) Lemay along with many in-laws, nieces and nephews. She will sorely be missed by her school buddies, Jill, Cheryl and Barb who made her 52nd birthday special. Lois loved her trailer and will sadly be missed by best friends, Agnes, Teressa and the Debonair crew. She was predeceased by her dad Edward Lutz as well as her in-laws, Nick and Ann Humiski. Lois started in the retail trade in the original St. Vital Canadian Tire where she and Bill reconnected their childhood friendship. Upon marriage Lois worked for Beaver Lumber in Altona and then Garden City. When Beaver Lumber closed, Lois took a holiday before finishing her career at McDiarmid Lumber in Garden City. The family wishes to thank the staff of CancerCare Manitoba. Special thanks to Dr. Maksymiuk, Dr. Ahmed and their nurse Stella, as well as Jeanine. Also thanks to the nurses and doctors of 3E - Riverview Medical Centre for the care and compassion over the last week. Friends may call on Friday, November 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. A celebration of Lois life will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel with visitation one-half hour before the service. Pallbearers will be her nephews Derek Lutz and Mark Robitbulkloadaille along with Marcel Gosselin and long time neighbour Merv Penonzek. Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
