Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD LA FLEUR Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Michel Joseph La Fleur on November 15, 2004 at the age of 43. He will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret, daughter Michelle (husband Tom) and son Marcel. He also leaves to mourn his mother Germaine La Fleur; brothers and sisters, (Fernand, Gilles (Baenie/niece), Lucie (Christian/nephew), Conrad (Monique/wife, Guy/nephew, and Natalie/niece), Monique (Christophe/husband), Rene, Dominic; also mother-in-law Lillian Cassidy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sheri and Don; as well as his many other nieces and nephews, and the many friends from his 25 years at Transcona Roofing Ltd. as a respected foreman and supervisor. Richard will be lovingly remembered by all as a man who had a big heart and a great sense of humour. You could always count on him to get you out of a bind, even in the middle of a cold winter night. He was always there to help everybody. If there was something that needed to be fixed he was there with his ideas and tools in hand. There isnt a person that didnt refer to Richard as a Jack of all trades. Richard loved spending time with his family. Summer weekends were spent fishing, boating and barbecuing. Richards joyful and playful spirit will be remembered by all. We all miss you deeply Richard, You will live on forever in our hearts, Everything about you was unique, Our lives will never be the same without you. Prayers will be said Tuesday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m. (viewing at 6:30 p.m.) at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m. (viewing at 10:30 a.m.), at Notre Dame de Lorette Church in Lorette, MB. Interment in St. Boniface Cemetery.
