EDITH PEEBLES On Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Edith Peebles aged 90 years of Selkirk and formerly of Lockport, MB. Edith is survived by her son Ron; brothers Edgar (Shelda) sisters, Alice and Phyllis; along with three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lester in 1999. She worked at Monarch Wear and Eatons downtown store for many years. Edith always had a good sense of humour, still maintaining it throughout her stay at Betel Home, Selkirk. She was a devoted Jehovah Witness in the Selkirk congregation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jehovah Kingdom Hall, Selkirk, MB. Interment of ashes to be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Betel Home, Selkirk and the nursing staff on the 2nd floor at the Selkirk General Hospital.
