ALBERT HUNG CHIU CHENG 1947 - 2004 With heavy hearts the family regrets to inform, on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Albert Hung Chiu Cheng passed away at the age of 57 years. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Deborah and their daughter Vicky; his children, Alnie (Dan), Visa (Rod), Sandra (Greg), Amela, Arthur (Mindy) grandchildren, Riley, Brandon, Alora, Aeidyn, Austin, Cadence, Bradlee; his step-children, Ann-Marie, Kelly, Andrew as well as many relatives in Hong Kong. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother-in-law Harvey and his granddaughter Amanda. Albert served in the Navy and was a police officer in Hong Kong. He and his family immigrated to Canada in 1976 where he worked in the serving industry. He spent the last 21 years driving for City of Winnipeg Transit. Viewing will be held between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral Service will also be held at the Chapel at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, November 22. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Olweny; nurse Bonnie; and the entire staff of 5B at the St. Boniface Hospital for all their care and support to Albert and his family.
