ALAN HILDERMAN November 10, 1938 - November 8, 2004 On November 8, 2004, with his family by his side, Alan lost his long and courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine; son Stuart (Kim) and grandchildren Ryan and Ellen; son Jason (Becky) brother Jim; niece Kelly (Tony) and grandniece Hayley. Alan will also be missed by his large extended family on Elaines side, all of whom he loved dearly. Alan was born in Winnipeg, growing up in the North End. He attended Isaac Newton High School and excelled at many sports during those years. He attended Concordia College in Minnesota to earn his teaching degree. It was here that he met the love of his life Elaine and stayed in the U.S. to teach and raise his family. Alan taught school for many years. He was well respected by his fellow teachers and loved by his students. Later in life, Alan left teaching and entered the world of real estate. Alan was a people person and he made many more new friends during these years. Alan was a prince among men and was widely known for his kindness, generosity, integrity and respect for others. His life was a gift of love that was unconditional and never ending. He will be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him.
