She leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Arthur; as well as seven children, George (Teena), Roger (Judy), Leo (Jean), Shirley (Pete), Ronald (Giselle), Wayne (Sherry) and Lucille (Rob) and her 19 grandchildren, Deanna, Lori, Leah, Amy, Renee, Clinton, Amanda, Tina, Phillip, Christine, Darcy, Tracy, Devon, Amber, Nicole, Shantal, Mason, Angela and Amanda. Georgette also had 11 great-grandchildren. Still surviving are her two brothers, Pierre and Frank; and three sisters, Madeline, Gemma and Yvonne. There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home, 1055 Ospika Blvd. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 19 at St. Marys Cathedral, 1088 Gillett St. at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Prince George Rotary Hospice House would be appreciated at 3089 Clapperton St., Prince George, BC V2L 5N4.
