Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARITA SARAH IRINE FORBISTER (nee MONKMAN) On November 17, 2004, at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB, Margarita Sarah Irine Forbister went to join her family. Sarah was born on March 22, 1914 just southwest of Eriksdale, MB. She was raised in the Minnewaken District. She loved to live her life to the fullest. She was able to adapt to new technology and enjoyed her outings. She enjoyed going to bingos, playing VLTs, playing cribbage, scratch tickets, partying and dancing. Even though Sarah had no children of her own, she became a mother to many of her nieces and nephews. She leaves to mourn her nieces and nephews and many good friends. She was predeceased by her sisters, Flora, Nancy, Lizzie, Hilda, Irene, Mary, Eva and Emma; brother Charles; and two infant brothers; her parents, James in 1953 and Catherine in 1952. Friends and relatives may pay their respects between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19 at the Arnason Funeral Home in Lundar, MB. Liturgy of the Word will be said at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20 at the Lundar Community Hall with Fr. Rene officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the hall. Service will conclude at the hall with cremation to follow. Interment will be held at a later date at the Minnewaken Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Monkman, Jim Monkman, Nick Forte, Dennis Lavallee, Jason Young and Kevin Gudmundson. Everyone in attendance that day can consider themselves honorary pallbearers.
