JOHN JAMES (Jim) CLARK Peacefully on November 18, 2004 at the Lakeshore General Hospital, John James (Jim) Clark of Spearhill, MB, passed away at the age 95 years. Jim was born May 6, 1909 at Portsmouth England and came to Canada at the age of 18 months. The family lived in Winnipeg, MB for awhile, then moved to Grahamdale to farm. Jim lived there until he married Hilda Mangl on April 18, 1942. They moved to the town of Spearhill, now known as part of Moosehorn, where he resided for the rest of his life. He worked for Winnipeg Supply and Fuel for 33 years while also running the farm. Jim loved farming, especially gardening, as well as hunting and fishing. Jim was predeceased by his parents; his brother Harry Clark; sister Em Ashley; two sons James John, and Glen. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Hilda, son Raymond (Sharon) their children Cameron and Melanie (Jeff) Olson; son Larry; daughter Valerie Young (Mitch), their children Melissa and Tanner; four great-grandchildren Larissa, Cheyanne, Shaelynn and Camryn; also many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grahamdale Community Hall with Melanie Kauppila officiating. Interment to follow in the Grahamdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leonard Kiesman, Eric Linde, Frank Ashley, Arnold Clark, Dave Buztynski, and Lyle Cook. Friends and relatives may pay their respects from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22 at the Arnason Funeral Home in Ashern. Viewing also at the hall prior to the service. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their care. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful if donations were made to the Manitoba Heart and Stoke Foundation, 6 Donald St. Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB. Arrangements by: Arnason Funeral Homes Ltd.
