STEVEN JAMES LINDBACK November 5, 1983 - November 14, 2004 It is with profound sadness that we, the family of Steven Lindback announce his sudden and unexpected passing in a tragic and fatal vehicle accident in Grande Prairie, AB on Sunday, November 14, 2004 where, after leaving Winnipeg, he had been residing for the past few years. Left to cherish his precious memory are his mom Diane Totin and Mike Danley; his sister Laura Lindback and Jamie Dufault; his Grandma Sylvia Warrington; his Auntie Donna Totin; Auntie Gail and Uncle Mark Wynne, Auntie Wendy and Uncle Dennis and cousin Janel Lafreniere; his Great-Grandma Eileen Warrington; his dad Dave Lindback; as well as many other family and friends. Steven lived his life with great adventure, on the edge and to the very fullest. He had a kind and caring nature and a heart of gold. His sense of adventure allowed him to do all of the things he "lived" to do like snowboarding, skateboarding, snowmobiling, dirt biking and riding his BMX bike in all extremes. He loved tinkering with motors and could start and fix anything you couldnt. Steven loved spending time in Bissett where he like to fish and spend time with the people he got to know there. And who could forget his dance movies? He loved to have a good time. Stevens easy going and likeable personality allowed him to make many friends along his lifes journey in every place he went. We know that he will be sadly missed by all of them. Steven loved most and best of all the time spent with his family. To whom he brought his great smile and wonderful sense of humour that kept us all laughing and so much more. He loved surprises and to surprise us with his many visits home. He was greeted with a hug and a kiss and always left with an "I love you". Steven knows that he is loved by us so very deeply and beyond words and that his love for us warms our hearts. Steven will be forever with us and his "Hey, hows it going?" and "Love ya" are just a couple of the many things we will miss and remember always. We express our utmost gratitude to everyone who gave us a hug, said a kind word, held our hands, gave us a thought, kept us in their prayers, sent flowers and cards, brought us food and were simply there for us in this most difficult of times. Cremation has taken place and an informal service of the "Celebration of Stevens Life", with family friend Susan Spindler officiating, will be held on Thursday, November 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Canad Inns Windsor Park, 1034 Elizabeth Road - Room Ambassador A. In lieu of flowers, Steven would be happy to know you made a donation in his memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street East, Winnipeg R2L 1X3 or to a charity of your choice. "Soar high and free above us Steve with Uncle Kerry and always watch over us." You will be in our thoughts and in our hearts forever. xo
