DAVID MICHAEL VANDEKERKHOVE Suddenly on November 18, 2004 in Fort McMurray, AB, beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away in his 50th year. David was predeceased by his father Gaston in 1987. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Marcia; daughters, Michelle (James) OConnor and Laura; stepchildren, Jason and Vanessa; mother Katherine of Winnipeg; sisters, Loraine (Rick) Kaatz and Marianne (Rick) Wiebe both of Winnipeg; brothers, Dennis (Norma) of Fort McMurray and Richard (Deb) of Winnipeg; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. While growing up in Winnipeg David attended school in St. Boniface and Transcona. He will be remembered for his big heart, generosity that knew no bounds and his great sense of humour. Even though he lived in Alberta for the last 28 years he remained a true Blue Bomber fan, often travelling to Edmonton to see them play. He enjoyed travelling home to Winnipeg to see his family. There was always lots of laughter when David was in the room. Rest peacefully, we love you in our hearts. Remember the laughter. Memorial service to be held in Fort McMurray, November 25, Robert Anderson Funeral Services, 225 MacDonald Cres., Fort McMurray, AB.
