HENRY WIEBE Suddenly on Saturday, November 20, 2004, Henry Wiebe, aged 72 years, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased in 1989 by beloved wife Olga; Henry is survived by son Karl and wife Arlene, grandchildren, Erynn, Kyle, and Ainsley; daughter Karen and husband Ron, grandchildren, Alicia and Jesse; daughter Lisa and husband Kelly; and sisters, Katie (Art) Kliewer and Agnes Roesler and many nieces and nephews. Dad had a zest for life. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and camping trips with family. Dad also liked playing cards, hosting domino nights and curling. In 1989 he retired from teaching high school in the River East School Division. Retirement provided Dad with the opportunity to pursue new interests such as beekeeping, badminton, and dancing. We will remember him for his wonderful storytelling ability, his keen sense of humour and love and support for his family. We will miss him always. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, 145 Henderson Hwy. Viewing will take place Tuesday, November 23 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
