ULRICH "OLLIE" DREESEN August 1, 1950 - November 20, 2004 Suddenly on November 20, 2004, Ollie passed away at the age of 54. Ollie is survived by his wife Darlene; daughter Hannah; son Luke; his parents Hans and Marianne; brother Hans (Pat) with children, Krystal and Michael; brother-in-law Dave (Barb) with Josh. Ollie is also survived by his extended family here and in Germany. Ollie was employed by Convergys after 16 years with Winnipeg Transit. He was also previously employed at West Textiles. Ollie enjoyed learning about computers and helping others with questions and answers. He was active in Transit Com Computers User Group while there. Ollie was involved with Manitoba Bass Anglers and the High Rollers 4 Wheel drive club. He was a Key Con participant and an avid Sci Fi/fantasy reader. Ollie enjoyed collecting books and coffee mugs, he had over a hundred of them. A memorial service will take place on Friday, November 26, at 10:00 a.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, with interment and reception to follow. "And the DM Smiled. . ."
