RITA L'HEUREUX (nee PELLAND) Peacefully on November 24, 2004, at 83 years of age, Rita Albina L'Heureux passed away with her family at her side. Rita is survived by her six children, Paul, Diane, Irene (Eric), Anita (Colin), Rose-Marie (Ron) and Richard (Michelle). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, David, Renee, Lee, Jason, Gabrielle, Luc and Kaitlin; numerous nephews and nieces; by two sisters-in-law, Madeleine and Antonia. Mom was a full time mother who devoted her life taking care of her family. She was known for her excellent sewing and cooking skills. Her love of card playing, bingo and fishing was shared on many occasions with family and friends. Her "Marcel" has picked her up for her last ride and voyage. They are finally together. The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria General Hospital and Dr. Karen Boyd for their compassion and care. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27 in the St. Norbert Roman Catholic Church, with Fr. Antoine Vo Van Hoa presiding. Interment to follow at the St. Norbert Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 12013 STN BRM B, Toronto, ON M7Y 2L3.
