TACHE LOUIS McKAY (GUTCH) June 22, 1922 - November 22, 2004 Peacefully on November 24, 2004, our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather Tache McKay passed away at the age of 82 years old. Tache will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his sons, Sydney (Evelyn), Harrison (June), Vernon, Randy (Jackie) and Steve; his sisters, Jesse and Violet: brothers, Max, Isiah and Jimmy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Clara; sons, Henry, Tache Jr., Harvey, Phillip and his only daughter Daisy Mae, sister Rudy and brother Tom. "Nothing but memories as we journey on, longing for a smile from a loved one gone, none knows the depths of our deep regret, but we remember when others forget." Prayer services were held on Wednesday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel followed by a wake. Wake services will be held on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Berens River Roman Catholic Church, Berens River, MB. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Berens River Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Rheal Forest officiating. Interment to follow at Berens River Cemetery.
