Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS HAROLD DIXON SIMPSON Peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at the Portage District General Hospital, Harold Simpson of Portage la Prairie, widower of the late Mary Simpson passed away at the age of 90 years. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ross Taylor officiating. A private family interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Predeceased by his parents, his wife Mary in 1981; one brother Charles in 1976; and one sister Muriel McKenzie in 2004. Harold leaves to mourn his passing his three daughters, Joy Simpson and her husband Don Sourisseau of Winnipeg and their son Duncan, Nancy Hill and her husband Rollie of Winnipeg and their children, Meredith (and her fiance Jeff Rempel) and Nathan, Ann-Marie Simpson (Ron Machuk) of Calgary and her children, Tessa and Charlie Gray. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Clements and Jean Boddy and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by Marys family; Anne Yasinski, Phyllis Trimblay, Jean and Gerry Tait of B.C. and Kae Frizzley of Portage.
