CHRIS ETCHELLS 1959 - 2004 Peacefully, on Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Health Science Centre, Chris passed away at the age of 45 years. Chris was predeceased by his father Bill and his infant brother Richard. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Nina and their children, Joe and Ellie; his mother Hilary; brother Andy (Clare) and their children, Harvey and Phoebe; his mother and father-in-law Barry (Krysia) and brother-in-law Mark Roper. Chris moved his family to Canada in 2001 and worked in the Hog Industry with GAP Genetics. Chris only lived in Canada for a short time. However, the love and friendships he and his family made in the community they settle in; ensured that he truly considered Manitoba his home. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Chris life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 1 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gather of family and friends will be held in the reception centre. Special thanks are extended to the staff of the Concordia Hospital Emergency Department and ambulance attendants, as well as the Health Science Centre ICU Department for all their care and support given to Chris and his family. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in memory of Chris to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada or the charity of ones choice.
