Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA MASI (nee AIELLO) Peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2004 Maria Masi, beloved mother and grandmother passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 90 years old. Maria was born on July 31, 1914 in Amato, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1954. She was called away by her loving husband Giuseppe Masi who also passed away on November 27 in 1989. Maria Masi was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She will always be remembered and sadly missed by her family, son Frank Masi and his wife Angelina; daughter Angelina Fiorentino and husband Mario; son Tony Masi and wife Josie; son Dr. Raffaele Masi; granddaughter Mary Buchanan (Bruce) grandson Greg Fiorentino (Maria) granddaughter Felice Rossi (Frank) grandson Joe Fiorentino (Raffella) grandson Joe Masi; and granddaughter Teresa Masi. Her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Stacie, Fabio, Carina, Daniel, Michael, Ariana and Mario will cherish her memories. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Giuseppe, Francesco, Andrea (Marie), Carmelo (Paolina) sister Carmela; brother-in-law Saverio (Nina) sister-in-law Rosina; sister-in-law Filomena (Peter) of British Columbia; sister-in-law Angela (Angelo) of British Columbia. As well she leaves behind with fond memories numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Messrs. Greg Fiorentino, Joe Fiorentino, Joseph Masi, Bruce Buchanan, Frank Rossi and Raffaele Aiello. Honorary pallbearers Ryan Buchanan, Fabio Fiorentino and Daniel Rossi. Prayer vigil will be held on Thursday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. also in the church with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will be held at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9 or the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
