Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL ANN SIMONSON (nee HOLLINGSHEAD) Peacefully, on November 29, 2004 knowing she had fought a good fight, Hazel passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre. Mom leaves to cherish her memory her son Carl (Joyce) of Edmonton, AB; her daughter Sigrid (Jan) grandchildren, Christopher (Shelley), Carl and Marnie (Glen), Scott, Brionie (Michael) and Craig; great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Brynne and loving nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Carl Simonson in November, 1971. Born in Sedley, SK, she moved to QuAppelle as a child and later to Winnipeg where she attended Daniel McIntyre Collegiate and Success Business College. Mom worked for The Grain Exchange in her early years and later in life enjoyed her days at the Courts of St. James office and The Big Sisters Association. In keeping with Moms wishes cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will follow later. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the loving staff at Deer Lodge Centre with a special thank you to Bev, Mary-Ann, Maureen, Heather and to Vivian MacDonald for the extra T.L.C. shown to Mom. To Moms Home Care friends, Brenda, Sylvia, Lynne, Gloria, Roxanne and Valerie, special appreciation for your care. Mom eagerly awaited her visits to C.N.I.B. - thank you to John Doleman for his volunteer time. May you be happy in Gods garden, And Gods love around you flow, For all the happiness you gave us, No one will ever know... It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, Part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
