Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD J. LAW Peacefully on November 29, 2004, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Dad passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Dad was born October 6, 1930 in Winnipeg, the third child of Bud and Aureen Law. Dad was predeceased by his parents; brother Delbert Law; his in-laws, Alex and Emma Hart, Buddy and Nora Hart, and Clifford Mowatt. Dad was so proud of his family and he will be deeply missed by them all. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 49 years, Grace; his children, Heather (Daren), Ed (Terri) and his grandchildren, Kevin, Keith, Kristen, Breanne and Brooklyn. He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Lorna Baty (Jim), Chuck (Eileen), his twin Jim (Edna), Janet Shead (George), George (Susan), Howard (Betty) sisters-in-law, Laura Mowatt, Maureen Law; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dad had a zest for life that could not be matched. He made friends wherever he travelled. He was always there when anyone needed help. Dad loved to hunt and was an avid outdoorsman. He was happiest when he was outside. We would like to thank Cathy Hilton and Terry Fiddler for the very best care anyone could have while Dad was still at home. To all of the staff on GH3 at the Health Sciences Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital, thank you for the care, comfort and support you gave Dad. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday (today), December 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. Services will terminate at the chapel with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. "Ive got no strings To hold me down, To make me fret, To make me frown. I had strings, But now I am free, There are no strings on me." Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
