Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE JEAN DESLAURIERS (nee SPIERS) On Monday, November 29, 2004 at Lions Manor in Winnipeg, Beatrice, aged 82, passed away after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Edward; grandchildren, Baby Tracy Boen, Eddy Boen, Darren Lee Emerson and Baby Barry Edward Stubbs. Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Linda Grandi (Bev), Barbara Emerson (Richard), Sharon Stubbs (Gerry) grandchildren, Randy, Corrie, Lee, Ricky, Rory, Del, Cary, Karen and Sherry; and many great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are sisters-in-law, Stella Todd and Lorraine Winterford; and many nieces and nephews. Growing up in Virden, MB, Beatrice moved to Flin Flon where she and Edward lived from 1940 to approximately 1974 at which time they moved to Winnipeg. Special thank you to the staff of the 6th floor Lions Manor Supportive Housing and Palliative Care. Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around you And whispered "Come with Me". So when we saw you sleeping So peacefully free from pain We could not wish you back To suffer that again. We love you Mom. May you and Dad rest in peace.
