Cor and Rose Marie Belcher were married in 1950 and moved to Balmoral from Lilyfield in 1954 where they raised their family and dairy farmed for nearly 30 years. In their retirement, they spent their winters travelling and visiting numerous friends and family across Western Canada. Cor and Rose Marie spent their winters in Victoria and Osoyoos, BC, returning to the farm every spring. Cors summers were spent helping Tom and Art on their farms as farming was always an important part of his life. Most mornings, Cor could be seen driving his little red truck to the Balmoral Rec Centre to enjoy his morning coffee with his many friends. He stayed active by walking or riding his bicycle and tinkering around fixing things at the rec centre or the church. Family and friends were of the utmost importance to Cor. He was a proud and kind man and was respected by all that knew him. You are invited to a celebration of his life on Friday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall with lunch to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion. Cremation has taken place.
