Dad was the loving husband and soul mate to our mom, Marlene, and dad to us, Brent (Monique) Gabryluk of St. Anne, MB, and Kristi (David) Becker of Dryden, ON. Dad will also be missed by his four grand-children, Sarah, Eric, Nicholas and Julian; as well as by sister-in-law Bonnie (Bob) Abrahamson of Regina; twin brother Donny (Marilyn) Gabryluk; brother Bill (Marie) Gabryluk; two sisters, Helen (Bert) Abbey and Elsie (Dick) Lindsey, all of Kenora, ON; as well as by many other family members and special friends. Dad was predeceased by his mother and father, Lena and Alex Gabryluk, as well as by his mother and father-in-law, Art and Anne Brennan. Dad was born September 5, 1937 in , where he grew up. In 1956 Dad got a job at Canada Safeway, with whom he remained for 40 years until his early retirement. Dad had a passion for the outdoors. He especially liked spending time on the Lake of the Woods in the summer and in the winter cross country skiing. Dad was a giving, gentle man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a funny sense of humour. Dad, your smiling face, brown eyes and all our good times together will be missed.
