Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY PATERSON (nee WILGOSH) 1930-2004 Peacefully on November 30, 2004, Mary passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, with her loving family at her side. Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years, John; and their three sons, Allen (Marianne), Gary (Marilyn) and Murray (Charlene) as well as their six grandchildren, Sheena, Sam, Melissa, Adam, Dylan and Morgan. Mary was one of 11 children and is survived by her sister Anne Kazina; and brother Bernie, as well as sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces, nephews and very close friends. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Wilgosh; and eight brothers. Mary was born in Brokenhead, MB on June 2, 1930. John and Mary were married on November 18, 1950 and raised their family in St. Boniface where she lived until her passing. Together they enjoyed many winter vacations in Arizona, trips to Shooting Star Casino, Wednesday night bingos and most recently summer camping at West Hawk Lake. Marys greatest pleasure was her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved to spend time with. She always looked forward to cooking family meals, which included everyones favourites, especially perogies. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the kindness shown by Dr. Casey Woo, the staff of Victoria General Hospital ICU and Craig from the 4th floor nursing staff. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with a private family interment at a later date.
