ARMAND ST. GODARD December 26, 1927 - December 1, 2004 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Armand St. Godard on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 52 years Yvette; his children, Suzanne (Rick), Robert, Claude (Darlene), Gisele (Raymond) his grandchildren, Riley, Erik, Leigh-Anne, Kristen, Cameron, Emily, Renee, Janelle, Natalie; four great-grandchildren; his sisters, Antoinette (late Amedee), Liliane (Benoit), Yvette (Denis), Paulette (Alex), Gilberte (Orest) his brothers, Denis (Yvette), Aurele (Cindy), Roger (Marlyn), Gilles; The Bruneau Family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Armand was predeceased by his parents, Napoleon and Marie; brothers, George (Marie), Paul, Henry (Jeannine) and Emile. Armand was employed at the St. Boniface General Hospital for 37 years. Once retired, he spent most of his time camping in St. Malo. Armand enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, whether it be playing cards, Sunday brunches or social gatherings. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when in need. Through his final year he faced lifes challenges through bravery and hope. He will always be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend special thanks to Monique Bruneau and Cindy Klinkhammer for their care and compassion, also to the nursing staff at home care and St. Boniface Palliative Care. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment and reception to follow.
