EVELYN HARRIS (nee DANIEL) It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Evelyn Harris on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 in Fred Douglas Lodge with family by her side at the age of 87 years. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gilbert Thomas Harris; sons, David and Gordon; grandchildren, Kyle, Andrea, Sheila, Selina, Chris and Jason; great-grandchildren, Riley, Emily, Colby and Joshua; and a brother Stanley. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Daisy. A celebration of Evelyns life will be held on Monday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with Rev. John Lenshyn, D. Min. officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank all the caring staff at Fred Douglas Lodge, with heartfelt thanks to all the staff and friends in the Oak Unit.
