MATHILDE (TILLY) CRUSE (nee SCHNEIDER) June 11, 1924 - December 2, 2004 Sadly we announce the passing of Tilly Cruse on December 2. Tilly grew up in Winnipegs North End. She enjoyed her youth and maintained many fond memories and friends from those days. In 1948 she met and married the dashing Bob Cruse. Together they settled into St. Vital and started a family. Robert Thomas was born in 1951 and Bonnie Molly in 1958. Throughout the years one of her favourite activities was gardening and everyone especially looked forward to her tomatoes. Tilly really enjoyed working outside the home. In her early years she worked sewing. Later when the kids were grown she worked as a cook. She was well liked and respected. Retirement years were active with the St. Vital Seniors. Again many new friendships were made and treasured. These words are not enough to describe the life and love of Tilly Cruse - daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Survived by husband Bob; son Rob (Ann) daughter Bonnie (Oliver Garus) beloved sister Mary (Bob) sister-in-law Rose Schneider. Predeceased by sister Molly and brothers, Henry and Jack. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Celebration of her life will be held Friday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. St. Marks Anglican Church, 19 St. Marks, St. Vital.
