ELVA MAY DEVER (nee CARTER) May 31, 1921 - April 12, 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Suddenly but peacefully following a lengthy illness Elva May known to many as (Dadie) passed away at the age of 82 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on April 12, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Donald Andrew Dever, brother William Carter of Woodstock, ON. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Patricia (Patti) Middleton; son-in-law Wayne Middleton; grandsons, Chris and Jeff Middleton; son Steven Dever, all of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Rita Carter of Woodstock. Thank you to all staff and nurses at the Misericordia Place, Cornish 2 Ward and Misericordia Place Nursing Home where she resided for the past four years. Thank you to Aunt Rita of Woodstock for her love and kindness throughout the years. Finally a very special thank you to my husband Wayne that even throughout his own serious illness at the time of my mothers death was there once again with his love and support. Thank you Wayne, my husband, my friend. Mom may you now be at peace Love Patti, Wayne, Chris and Jeff.
