LAWRENCE LEO INGI ISFELD Peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2004 Lawrence Isfeld, aged 74 years, passed away at his home in Gimli, MB. Lawrence was born in Gimli on June 22, 1930. He was a lifelong resident of Gimli and was a commercial fisherman for over 60 years. He was predeceased by his wife Peggy; parents, Jack and Madge; brothers, Victor and Harold; sister Gloria Thomas; infant son John; nephew Chris Thomas; and granddaughters, Anastasia and Crystal. Left surviving are daughters, Margaret, Brenda and Charlene; sons, Lawrence, Harold, Garth, Clarence and Henry; stepdaughters, Lillian, Eleanor and Trudy; stepsons, Laurie and Danny; 28 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Steve; sisters, Valdina (Dennis) McFadden, Georgina (Percy) Crawford, Evelyn Harrison and Tammy Bolduc; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli with Mr. Steve Isfeld officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of ones choice. Special thanks to Dr. Chapnick and nurses Brenda Krulicki and Julie Kumps.
