WILLIAM "BILL" JOSEPH WICKS After a courageous battle with cancer, Bill passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2004, at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 82 years, with his loved ones at his side. Bill was predeceased by his first wife Stella Crawford in 1992. Remaining to cherish his memory are his beloved Lorna; son Bryan; grandchildren, Ken (Cathay), Heather, Holly and their mother Leslie; great-grandson Devin; daughter Susan (Pat) grandchildren, James, Cindy and Patricia; Lornas sons, John and Robert (Estella) and great-grandson Andrew; one brother and two sisters in England; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in England and Winnipeg. A private funeral service for Bill will be held on Tuesday, December 21 in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard. Our family wishes to thank Drs. S.M. Parham and P. Harris at the Grace Hospital; as well as Drs. Crawford and Crow at Riverview Health Centre and all the nurses and support staff. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Bills memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
