MARION FORSYTHE KENNEDY 1922 - 2004 Marion passed away at the Agape Hospice on December 1, 2004, at the age of 82 years. She is lovingly remembered by a sister Miriam Curtis; children, Nancy Langdon and Jean (Alan) Gardner; grandchildren, Bethany and Jared (Angela Schafer) Langdon, Ross, Laurel and Raina (Tim Riley) Gardner; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Bennett Langdon; and many nieces and nephews. Marion was born and raised in Winnipeg where she met and married Bill Kennedy in 1943 and raised her children. In 1961 the family was transferred to Montreal where she pursued an accounting career. Marion later moved to Toronto where she retired and became an active volunteer at Scarborough Village. From an early age, Marion was skilled in designing and dressmaking. She moved to Calgary in 1994, where her creativity was further expressed through knitting and crocheting for the Salvation Army and the Kerby Centre where she was an active volunteer in their Handicrafts Boutique. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family for a reception at Fosters Garden Chapel, 3220 4th Street NW, Calgary, on Monday, December 6 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, in care of Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 29 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 4N2.
