Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN-LOUIS AUDETTE Apres vingt ans de souffrances, Jean est decede paisiblement, samedi le 4 decembre 2004, au Villa Youville de Ste-Anne, MB, a lage de soixante-dix-neuf ans. Jean, fils de Victor and Eva (nee Bibeau) Audette, est ne a St. Boniface, MB, le 29 novembre 1925. Son epouse bien-aimee de quarante-cinq ans Constance (nee Suarez) est decedee le 27 octobre 1998. Il laisse dans le deuil cinq enfants, Nicole et Jeannine (jumelles), Michel (Pamela), Lyse et Jean-Marc; ainsi que ses petits-enfants, Manon (Nicole), Stephane, Danya et Daniel-Phillipe (Michel) deux soeurs, Lorraine Martaens et Jeannine Phaneuf de Michigan, E.U.; son frere Roger de Tennessee, E.U.; ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nieces. Jean etait une personne qui aimait la lecture, aller a la peche et collectioner des timbres. Il etait membre de Chevaliers de Colombe, a servi dans la marine Canadienne et a travaille pour le chemin de fer Le Canadien National. Il a eleve sa famille a Sainte-Anne-des-Chenes. La famille Audette desire remercier la direction et le personnel du Villa Youville ainsi que les Soeurs Grises pour les soins prodigies avec respect et devouement envers Jean durant les treize dernieres annees de sa vie. La messe des funerailles sera celebree le mercredi 8 decembre a 10h30 en leglise catholique de Saint-Anne-des-Chenes. Au lieu de fleurs, les personnes qui le desirent peuvent faire parvenir un don au Foyer Villa Youville, Ste-Anne, MB. JEAN-LOUIS AUDETTE Jean-Louis, at the age of 79, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2004, after a lengthy stay at Villa Youville, in Ste. Anne, MB, with his children at his side. Jean was born in St. Boniface, MB on November 29, 1925, son of the late Victor and Eva (nee Bibeau) Audette. He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years Constance Audette (nee Suarez) and is survived by his siblings, Lorraine Martaens and Jeannine Phaneuf, both of the state of Michigan and Roger Audette of Tennessee; daughters, Nicole and Jeannine (twins) and Lyse; sons, Michel (wife Pamela) and Jean-Marc; as well as his grandchildren, Manon (Nicole), Stephane, Danya and Daniel-Phillipe (Michel) and numerous nephews and nieces. Jean was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus as well as an avid reader who enjoyed fishing and collecting stamps. He served in the Canadian Navy as a young man, returning to Winnipeg from Halifax, to enter lifelong employment with the Canadian National Railway and to raise his family in Ste. Anne. For the last 20 years, Jean suffered a debilitating condition that required constant care. In 1991, he became a resident of Villa Youville in Ste. Anne under the exemplary and loving support of its nurses, homecare workers, physicians, volunteers, and the spiritual guidance of the Grey Nuns. The family is especially touched by the quality of life our father was able to experience during the last 13 years of his life. Jeans funeral mass will take place at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne on Wednesday, December 8 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Foyer Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, MB.
