MARGUERITE ARNAL (nee SYLVESTRE) With family by her side at the St. Boniface Hospital, Marguerite beloved wife of the late Andre Arnal, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 6, 2004 at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn her three children, Bob (Diane), Denise (Russ Joyce), Raymond (Betty) and her grandchildren, Shaun, Keith, Andrew, James, and Sarah; as well as several nieces and nephews whom she cherished greatly. She will also be missed by her brothers, Rolly, Bob (Joyce), Marcel (Verna) and her sisters, Stella, and Claudette (Al) and sister-in-law Yvette. Marguerite was born in Bellegarde, SK and moved with her family to Fannystelle, MB at the age of 16. There she met and married Andre Arnal and they had three children. In 1967, she went to Nursing School and graduated as an L.P.N.. She worked for five years at St. Anne Clinic, and then moved to the St. Boniface clinic for the next 20 years. She also took time off to volunteer as a missionary nurse in Burkina Faso, Africa. In 1972, she moved to St. Boniface where she spent the last 32 years of her life. Marguerite always enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Marguerite took great pleasure in spending time with her brothers and sisters and their families. She was very close to all of them. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral with viewing one half hour prior to the service.
