He was very proud of his technical specialist degree, obtained by attending summer school in Toronto. He also had a love of music. This ran in the family. He and his brothers played music together most of their lives. Dads violin and tapes were always part of his life. When George retired he focused his energies into designing and building folding furniture and gardening. Everyone who ever met him received folding tables or flowers and vegetables. In his last years, Dad bought a trailer and set it at the Capar homestead in Meleb, MB. He especially enjoyed his time here. Special thanks to his brother Peter and nephew Peter Jr. who facilitated this wish.
