ALEXANDER LAROCQUE After a lengthy illness, with his family by his side, it is with profound sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of Alexander (Alex) Clifford Joseph Larocque, at the age of 75 years, on Sunday, December 5, 2004. Alex is survived by his wife Juliette of 52 years; seven children, Linda (Donald), Annette (Doug), Diane (Art), Valerie (Tony), Gerry (Bill), Tracy (Lorne) and Shawn (Anna) 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, three brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and one son Harold in 1974; also six brothers and two sisters. Alex was born in Hodgson, MB, and moved to St. Eustache after he married. He enjoyed playing the fiddle, dancing the jig, yard work and gardening. Friends and family were always welcome at his home. Bingo nights with his daughters was another one of his favourites. "Cleanliness" a must with him. Alex (Dad) will be greatly and eternally missed. A special thanks to his grandson Rick and his wife Jackie "for their all" and the staff of 4West at Deer Lodge for all theyve done, also to his brother Fred and sister Judy for being there for him. Urn bearers will be his son Shawn and daughter Annette. Honorary pallbearers will be his six grandsons, Rick Vivier, Rob and Scott Larocque, Lee Ozarko, Joey Lane and Cody Spence. Prayers will be said at 1:00 p.m., with memorial services to follow at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8 at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, 168 Worth St. off Logan Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, with Fr. Francis Paradis and Fr. Robert Bernardin officiating. Aboriginal Funeral Chapel in care of services. Inurnment will be at the Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Eustache where he shall rest in peace. Flowers gratefully declined. Expressions of sympathy would be appreciated through donations made in Alexs memory to the Manitoba Lung Association. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy, My lifes been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, A loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Dont lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, he set me free. No longer in our lives to share, But in our hearts you are always there. ABORIGINAL FUNERAL CHAPEL 742 SELKIRK AVE. 586-7700
