GRACE SUMARROS MORTON (nee MATTHEWS) 1924 - 2004 Grace (Amma) Morton, beloved wife of Percy Morton of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre, Tom Baker Cancer Centre on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Grace was born on September 10, 1924 in Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her loving husband Percy; her six children and their spouses, Bradley and Zetta Willis, Slade and Rhonda Willis, Randall and Cindy Willis, Jay Willis, Kirsti and Bernie Giacobbo, and Colleen and Dave Irvine; 16 grandchildren and their spouses, Aaron and Julie, Gaia and Dave, Nathan, Coulter, Drake, T.K., Billie-Jo, Matthew, Amber and Rich, Leah, Carl, Chris, Micki, Kelly, D.J., Scott, and Blake; a sister Lillian Gudmundson of Minneapolis, MN; and a brother Al Matthews of Winnipeg. She is also lovingly remembered by Mae, Pauline, Lynn, Heather, and other members of the Morton family. Grace was predeceased by her first husband Jackson N. Willis; and her sister Claire. A memorial celebration will be held in Calgary, AB during the last weekend of July, 2005.
