FRANK JANAS It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle at home on Sunday, December 5, 2004. Frank leaves to mourn his loving wife of 48 years, Estelle; his four children, Hedy (Kenn), John (Helene), Maria (Vern) and Eddy (Annette) grandchildren, Garrett, Justin, Shawn, Jake, Beau, Amanda and expected grandchild; sister Lilka; many nieces and nephews and special friends. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Dorota; sister Wanda and son Frank Jr. Frank was born in Poland and arrived in Canada 1948. He worked for Winnipeg Supply/Building Products for the last 53 years. Our father was the hardest working man in the world. He had the biggest heart and no one knew this better than his children. There wasnt anything he wouldnt do for us. Our father grew up an avid fisherman that included many special camper/fishing trips. His Saturday tradition included shopping for groceries/meats, then meeting up with his daughters. Our father enjoyed spending his vacation time with his wife and children in Hawaii. "The big guy" will always be remembered for his famous coleslaw. We will all miss him terribly and cherish all the wonderful memories he has left with us. We love you forever "Big guy" #17. Prayers will be said on Thursday, December 9 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
