SISTER REVA DUBOIS (SOEUR IRENE THERESE) Fille de la Croix Peacefully, on December 7, 2004, Sister Reva Dubois passed into eternal life, at the Provincial House of the Sisters of the Cross, at the age of 88. She was surrounded by many of her Sisters and the infirmary staff. Sister Reva was born in Assiniboia, SK on November 15, 1916. She entered the noviciate at LaPuye, France on August 26, 1936 for two years of formation followed by her first vows on August 15, 1938. On August 15, 2004, Sister Reva celebrated 66 years of religious life. Sister has been a dedicated and efficient teacher for 45 years. She served as a meticulous librarian and archivist at the Provincial House for 12 years. Left to celebrate her life are her brother Theodore and wife Edna and her sister Bernice, as well as many nephews and nieces. The Sisters of the Cross will forever remember her determination, piety and her loving kindness for all. We will also remember her patient waiting for Gods call during the last three years of her life at the infirmary. Many will miss her gentle smile and witty remarks. Les Filles de la Croix are very grateful to all the staff, nurses and caregivers who have been so kind to our dear Sister during her illness. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Provincial House, 66 Moore Ave. in Winnipeg. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 11 at the same location. Interment will follow in St. Adolphe. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
