JOHN MARIE LETEXIER May 24, 1924 - December 7, 2004 After a lengthy illness with his family by his side, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of John Letexier of Fisher Branch, MB, on Tuesday, December 7, 2004, at the age of 80 years. John leaves to mourn his wife, Mary of 54 years; his sons, Allen (Doreen) and Glen both of Fisher Branch; his daughters, Susan (Wade) Pickett of Airdrie, AB, Joyce Wilson of Fisher Branch and Jeannette of Winnipeg. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren, Travis, Lynette, Stephen, Rachael, Philip, Aaron, April, Carter, Destiny; and one great-grandson, Brandon. Also survived by one brother, Ernest of Fisher Branch; and two sisters, Mina (Frank) Malenchak of Winnipeg and Helen (Bill) Vandersteen of Fisher Branch. John was predeceased by his son, Garry, in 1993; his father, Jean (John) in 1957; his mother, Jeanne in 1997; and two brothers, Victor in 1992 and Adrian in 1998. John was born May 24, 1924 in Fisher Branch, where he spent most of his life farming, drilling wells and working in the bush. A special thank you to the medical staff at the Percy E. Moore Hospital. We would also like to thank M.M.F. Hodgson Local, Frank and Florence Wilson and Wayne and Madeline Vandersteen for the food brought to the hospital for the family during his stay. Funeral service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Fisher Branch, MB on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. Fr. Michael Raj Savarimuthu officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division.
