WALLACE (WALLY) GARNET HUNTER It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wally Hunter on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at his residence in River Hills, MB. Wally Hunter, aged 50 years, beloved partner of Leanne Brewster. Wally is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Everille (Thomas), Venetta Rimmer (Matt Hegedus), Leota Johnson (Charles) by brothers, William (Frances), Ray (Ruth), Darrell, Gary, Glen (Linda) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and his cats, Sylvestor and Tweety. He was predeceased by his parents, Austin and Annie Hunter; and a sister Sharon. Wally was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and enjoy his quiet solitude. You knew when Wally was in the room by his big broad smile, he lived life to the fullest and loved socializing with his partner Leanne and his friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Russell Funeral Home, Beausejour, MB with Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Services will terminate at the Chapel with cremation to follow. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
