DR. SAMUEL SEETNER It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Samuel Seetner on Thursday, December 9, 2004 at North General Hospital in his 84th year. He is survived by his devoted wife Ilse of 60 years; and loving father and father-in-law of Gerald and Anne Marie Seetner, Brian and Cathy Seetner and Mark Seetner. Devoted grandfather of Heidi, Leah, Michael, Erica and Emma Seetner. Brother and brother-in-law of Barney and Pearl Seetner. Sam was born in 1920 in Winnipeg, MB. He graduated from Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1943. He had a long and successful career as a dentist. Practising his craft for 56 years. His love for the arts and skill as a concert pianist were well known. At the age of 19 he wrote a full length musical comedy that was produced originally by the University of Manitoba. In 1939 and reprised again for the 100th anniversary of the University of Manitoba in February, 2001. At Benjamins Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Ave. W. (two lights west of Dufferin St.), Toronto, for service on Sunday, December 12 at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park in the Moldover section.
