DONALD GRANT TYNDALL On December 10, 2004 Donald Grant Tyndall peacefully drew his last breath and completed his earthly business. Born December 26, 1943 in Portage la Prairie, Don leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Elizabeth; his two most precious children, Michael and Laurie; and his stepchildren, Lesley Wilson and Geoffrey Wilson (Rosanna). Don is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Rose and Ron Goodz; his sister Sharon Jones (Michael) and their children. Also left to mourn his passing are many extended family members, Michael and Lauries mom, Lynn Gunn, and his many friends and brothers from his 31 years on The Winnipeg Police Service. A loving and devoted father, Don was extremely proud of his two children. How he loved to sit and talk with them! He was my newlywed husband for far too short a time. Our hearts ache for a life taken from us too soon. We love you and will miss you for all time! Sleep well and be at peace for we will meet again! Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Chaplain Devon Clunis officiating. Interment to follow in Transcona Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. In memory of Donald, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Endowment Fund at the St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation. Many heartfelt thanks to all the staff on 8th floor at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate care of Donald in his final days.
