IVAN HAROLD BRATKO We are sad to announce that after a short but courageous battle with cancer, Ivan passed away on December 9, 2004, in Brandon, MB. Ivan is survived by his daughter Tammy; son Terry (Liz) former wife Shirley; brothers, Mike (Mary L.) and Leonard (Angie) as well as 16 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Katherine (nee Boyko) brother Paul and sister Mary (Mike) Weselowski. Ivan was born on July 4, 1944, in Winnipegosis, MB. He spent 42 years living and working in the north. He loved the north and the people that he met there. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Cremation has taken place and two services are planned: Tuesday, December 14, at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, Winnipeg, and Friday, December 17, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, Thompson. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family for palliative care in Manitoba in memory of Ivan.
