JOHN BURDZ September 14, 1926 - December 14, 2004 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of John Burdz. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Sania; his children, Paul (Shirley) Burdz, Lucy (Claude) Landry; and his two grandchildren, Sean and Kyle Landry. John will also be missed by his brothers, Victor (Nina), Paul (Irene), Walter (Josie), Peter (Diane); his numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his best friend Ken (Gladys) Szykoluk; and his dear brother-in-law Melvin (Kaisu) Rusiecki. John was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Alexandra Burdz; and his brother Boris Burdz. John was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was also a loyal friend, a hard worker whom was respected by all who knew him. John faced his illness with strength and determination. His courage and dignity was an inspiration to us all. John was very proud of his Belorussian heritage. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and everyone who assisted in making his stay as comfortable as possible on the 3rd floor of the Victoria Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Salem.
