JOSEPH VICTOR WINBERG On December 14, 2004 a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather left us peacefully. Joseph Victor Winberg was born August 20, 1909 in Winnipeg where he was employed with CPR for 47 years. He married the love of his life, Lillian Pearl Frederickson in 1938 until her passing in 1999 after 60 years of marriage. Leaving to mourn him is his only son Raymond Arthur Winberg and his wife Wilma; his grandchildren, Debbie (Casey), Carol (Rolly), Cheryl (Dave), Kathy, Raymond, Kristie (Josh), Jennifer, Jodie and James; also great-grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlin, Drew, Afton, Shanna, Paul, Shaun, Nicole, Jessie, Rae-anne, Brenden and Bryce; also numerous nieces and nephews, too many to name. Grandpa Joe lived in Weston all through his life, then in the last 15 years he lived with his son and family on their berry farm near Garson, MB. He was always active with his son Raymond on annual camping trips to Black Lake, the Firefighters Fishing Derby and yearly hunting expeditions. These special times were also enjoyed with the rest of his large family. Another great passion of Grandpa Joe's was bowling at Billy Mosienko's until the time of his passing. His passion for sports started at a young age, and continued through his entire life along with watching hockey and football. He was also a passionate gardener and berry picker. Dad, I'm going to miss my hunting and fishing partner. A day will never go by without you being missed. See you in the Funny Papers Grandpa Joe. A new great-grandson has been born to you on December 15. Riley Joseph came into the world at 12:32 a.m., weighing 9 lbs. 6 oz. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler (Henderson and Hespeler) on Saturday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
