PHILIPPE LOUIS SAINDON February 19, 1936 - December 13, 2004 After a long and courageous battle with heart disease Philippe passed away at his residence in Ste. Anne. He is survived by his wife Stella (nee Nault); his brothers and sisters, Jean Paul (Adrienne), Lucien (Mona), Denise (Stan), Fernand (Lucienne), Juliette (Fernand), Jean Louis (Lucie), Roger (Dee) and Donat (Viola); brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerard (Jovita), Roland (Elaine), Gilles (Eveline), Della (Fernand), Allan (Shirley), Rose Marie, Doris (John), Eveline (Dave), Gabriel (Shirley), Ronald (Annette) and Rose; mother-in-law Florence Nault; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; his close friend Edmond; and his companion King . He was predeceased by his father Louis, mother Elizabeth, father-in-law Aime, brother-in-law George, sister Eveline, friend Ferdy, great-nephew Marcel, stepfather Raymond, nephew Patrick and sister-in-law Diane. Philippe was born at home in Richer, MB where he attended school and resided for most of his life. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He worked on construction and in the bush for South-East Forest Products. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church on Friday, December 17 at 2:30 p.m. with viewing one half hour prior to the mass with Fr. Rene Chartier the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Roy of Ste. Anne, the ambulance attendants, Louis Le Brun, St. Boniface Emergency, MICU, 5B, 4B and 4E, Steinbach Bethesda Hospital Ste. Anne Ward as well as a very special thanks to Kim for being there for Phil. Also thanks to Dr. G. Gobeil, Anne Plett (palliative Care) and Yvette Cyr (home care), Gilles, Evelyne, Lucie and Jean Louis.
