KEN HARDMAN It is with deep sadness, we the family announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Ken at the age of 74 at the Riverview Health Centre on December 15, 2004. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Isabelle; sons, Jack (Elaine), Gord, Len (Donna); daughter Nancy (Brian Sorensen); grandchildren, Jill, Janele, Christine, Jean, Evan, Kenny, Noelle, Jordan, Eric; great-grandson Zachary; sister Joan Miller and family and sister-in-law Clara Giroux. Dad worked for Canada Safeway for a number of years as a truck driver. He was active in coaching hockey and also a member of the Red River Valley Executive Sports League. In his off time he loved camping, travelling, and especially watching his grandchildren during their sports activities. Your fun loving spirit, love of life and dedication to family has left a lasting impression on our hearts. A special thank you to Dr. Komenda and the staff of Riverview Health Centre, for their compassion and care. HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST God looked around His garden, And found an empty space. He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew that you were in pain, He knew that you might never, Get well upon this earth again. He knew the road was getting rough, And the hills were too hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered, Peace be thine. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, December 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
